One of the most unusual requests Elysium Memorials has ever had came from Pat. She was reaching an age where she began to contemplate her own death, and as she had no relatives, decided to sort all the arrangements herself well in advance.

She was an artist, so had very clear views of what she wanted. One her favourite places to spend time was an art centre close to her home. Instead of a headstone, she decided she wanted a sculpture of a cup of tea to go in the art centre garden after her death, signifying all the lovely times she had spent sharing tea with her friends there.

Elysium made the sculpture for her, and it sits in her living room, and it is in her will for it to be placed in the garden once she has died.
